The Air Jordan IV “Alternate ’89” is inspired by what the Air Jordan IV would have looked like in a Player Exclusive colorway made for Michael Jordan. This version of the Air Jordan IV features a classic white and red scheme that would have looked right at home on Jordan’s feet at the old Chicago Stadium. This sneaker is released as part of the alternate collection, which features the Air Jordan II, Air Jordan IV and Air Jordan V with colors consistent with the Chicago-based team Jordan played for during his early years in the league.
