Air Jordan 2011 – The 26th Air Jordan
Air Jordan 2011 is the first performance basketball sneaker to feature two interchangeable midsoles for performance customization. Co-designed by Tinker Hatfield and Tom Luedecke, the Air Jordan 2011’s interchangeable midsoles gives the player an option of being quicker or more explosive. In detail, the red insole incorporates a 3/4 length Air Unit and Cushlon midsole for ultra explosiveness, while blue insole features heel and forefoot Zoom Air Units for ultra responsiveness.
Air Jordan 2011 – Hand Burnished
As for outer design cues, Jordan Brand introduces a new material/texture on the Air Jordan 2011: patina leather. Each Air Jordan 2011 is hand burnished giving every pair a distinctive, unique completed form. In addition, Jordan Brand added elephant print, one of their most recognizable elements, to the Air Jordan 2011 by way of the highly-detailed traction on the outsole. Lastly, the left sneaker contains a perforated “23? in representation for MJ’s love for motorsports, while the right shoe’s tongue features the timeless Jumpman logo.
